Featured Question: Our Board is struggling with identifying the organization's Owners. We have some identified but are continually debating which other groups need to be included. How can we resolve this and move ahead?

Answer: The answer is to move ahead. Often defining the Owners is an 80/20 question. Usually, 80% of the Owners' voice is made up by only 20% of the Owners. It is just as important to connect the Owner to a dialogue about Ends as it is to define who the Owners are. If your organization clarifies all the Owners are but never creates an Ends dialogue with them, it hasn't accomplished much beyond the first drafts of Ends. Getting started on creating dialogues with Owners is important because it often takes multiple attempts before finding an effective method.
